Who We Are
Our Story
American Legion Shawnee was founded by a group of veterans who wanted to create a space where their fellow veterans could find the support and resources they need to thrive. We understand the unique challenges that veterans face, and we are committed to helping them overcome those challenges.
Veteran Services
Our Services
We are open for our veterans to come and visit with us, or talk to a service rep if you need VA help with compensation. We also have a program to help a veteran with grocery needs.
Monday's from 9-12 Come for coffee and donuts, and visit with veterans
Wednesday's from 9-12 Coffee and donuts with veterans
Thursday evenings from 5- 8 Come hang out, have a sandwich and soda.
We have some games, cards and lots of stories to tell and hear. Be among friends and like minded individuals that just want to be with brothers and sisters we can really connect with.

Acivities open to the public
Bingo Saturdays
Saturday bingo is open to the public. Kids are welcome, but must stay with parents.
Doors open at 5:30 PM. Our ladies auxiliary serve food and drinks.
Mini games start at 6:00 PM for $1.00 each game. Main Packs start at 7:00 PM for $15.00, with specials at $1.00 each. Main games pay minimum of $30, but go up with more players.
